Saying farewell to Katharina! Adventure in Taipei: Completed! |
As the year draws to a close, we bid farewell to Katharina Götze, our trainee from the DIHK headquarters in Berlin. Though her three-month stay with us was short, she has left a big mark on our team!
During her internship, Katharina supported internal process improvements and helped with several major year-end events, including Photonics Delegation, the German Christmas Markets, and the Goose Dinner — always with enthusiasm and a smile. We are grateful for every moment we worked together, whether in the office or out in the field.
Next, Katharina will continue her journey at IHK Neubrandenburg, diving into a new environment and gaining new perspectives. We wish her all the very best — may her next chapter be just as rewarding and memorable!
Thank you, Katharina — and see you soon, either in Taiwan or Germany!

Taiwan is forecast to achieve its strongest economic growth in 15 years in 2025, with growth projected around 7.4 %, driven largely by surging global demand for AI-related technology and expanding semiconductor output, according to Academia Sinica.
The growth outlook reflects Taiwan’s competitive edge in advanced tech production and exports, particularly in semiconductors, but analysts caution that evolving trade policies and supply-chain shifts could influence future performance.
