Subfab360 ATC is an innovative open-source-based software solution developed to increase environmental sustainability in semiconductor production. It enables energy and resource reductions in the subfab which leads to significant reductions in CO2 emissions. Semiconductor manufacturers use the software to control their abatements and pumps in real time based on data from coating and etching systems. Silicon Boat for vertical furnace
|
|
|
CE-MAT supplies high-purity silicon boats made from CZ monocrystalline silicon for wafer diameters of 150 mm, 200 mm, and 300 mm.
Unlike quartz or SiC boats, the identical thermal expansion between the Silicon Boat and the wafer material minimizes friction, reducing backside scratches, slip lines, and front side defects. This has been proven to increase chip yield, confirmed by several customer qualifications.
The boats consisting of a top and bottom plates and the rods are easily assembled directly at the customer site. Capacity can be increased by 15–20% through additional slots, often eliminating the need for new furnaces.
All boats are cleaned and packed in a class 100 cleanroom. While no further cleaning is needed, a pre-conditioning process (included) must be performed before use in production.
CE-MAT offers fast delivery times of 12–14 weeks, compared to >52 weeks for SiC boats – giving customers both technical and logistical advantages.

This mixed signal ASIC is a compact, integrated receiver amplifier designed for high-sensitivity photo diodes used in applications like light barriers, smoke detectors and light curtains. Ambient light is filtered out and the pulses detected by a photodiode are amplified. The processed signals are used to control a current mirror output stage. With the implementation of an integrated polarity protection, the device can be used in a multiplexed configuration, simplifying the wiring of the application. Optimized to minimize the need for external components, it can be used for light measurement applications ranging from a few millimeters to several meters.
