Taiwan's energy industry is undergoing significant changes towards more sustainable & green energy sources. The Taiwanese government has pledged to invest up to 23 Billion of USD in wind energy until 2025, in order to generate 5,5 GW of electricity. This expanding and dynamic market offers great opportunities for German companies to display their expertise & engineering. For these aspirations the Asia Pacific Wind Energy Expo & Forum Taiwan in Kaohsiung presents the ideal platform.

EnBW Asia Pacific established its Asia Pacific headquarter in Taiwan in 2018. Our company is the subsidiary of EnBW Baden-Wuerttemberg. "Energiewende. Safe. Hands on" is EnBW's motto since 2013. After ONP Management was founded in 2014 in Hamburg, Germany, it has established itself as the “decision providers” for offshore wind projects. Since then, they have been involved in numerous offshore wind projects in Germany, Taiwan, China, United States, Belgium, Denmark, Poland and The Netherlands. Risk management is the soul of offshore wind power. TÜV Rheinland and the U.K.’s University of Liverpool have jointly developed a series of online training courses for the training of experts in risk and safety management. Corresponding qualifications can be obtained upon completion based on the program type. TÜV Rheinland is also a GWO-accredited provider of independent certification services. GWO training courses are offered in two modules, Basic Safety Training (BST) and Basic Technical Training (BTT). GWO is the basic ticket for entry into the wind power industry. TÜV Rheinland can conduct certification assessments for training centers and obtain GWO approvals, providing related certificates to trainees.
