TSMC also obtains eight-inch wafer capacity from other companies in which the Company has an equity interest. TSMC is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) under ticker number 2330, and its American Depositary Shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol "TSM".

Located at UTokyo’s Asano campus, this cutting-edge facility is dedicated to advancing semiconductor research, education, and talent incubation. “The TSMC-UTokyo Lab is built on the success of institution-wide collaboration that started in 2019, which has blossomed into the close collaboration that we have today,” said Dr. Y.J.     Today, we welcomed more than 1,000 semiconductor professionals at the TSMC 2025 Japan Technology Symposium in Yokohama to explore how we could advance the AI future together.   At the Symposium, we also held our first Japan Automotive Panel. Industry leaders from Toyota Motor, Honda Motor, Denso, Panasonic Automotive Systems, and Renesas Electronics joined together to discuss industry trends and AI’s transformative role in advancing automotive technologies.   Dr. Kevin Zhang, TSMC Senior Vice President of Business Development and Global Sales, and Deputy Co-COO, introduced our latest and industry-leading A14 technology, featuring NanoFlex™ Pro, to achieve an innovative cell structure that delivers unparalleled efficiency and performance. Dr. Zhang also shared that adoption of advanced technologies is accelerating for autonomous driving.   Makoto Onodera, President of TSMC Japan, calls for deeper and closer collaboration to shape the AI future, combining Japan’s competitive advantages in Physical AI robotics and automotive, sensor and TSMC’s technology leadership and manufacturing excellence.   Vivek Mahajan, Corporate Executive Officer, Corporate Vice President, and CTO in charge of System Platform at Fujitsu and Kohei Itoh, President of Keio University also joined the event and shared valuable insights on advancing AI development.   Dr. L.C.     At 2025 VLSI Symposium, themed “Cultivating the VLSI Garden: From Seeds of Innovation to Thriving Growth,” TSMC will showcase groundbreaking advancements in transistor scaling through short courses, panel discussions, and paper presentations.     In the City of Phoenix, #TSMCArizona is committed to empowering future innovators by fostering STEM education in our local community. Through a meaningful collaboration with Deer Valley Unified School District, we took part in their annual #STEAM nights, aimed at encouraging young minds to delve into Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Over the course of two months, nearly 50 TSMC Arizona team members visited eight schools, leading interactive activities that illustrated the intricate process of creating semiconductor wafers. These events went beyond entertainment—they ignited curiosity and planted the seeds for tomorrow’s #STEM pioneers. We’re grateful to Deer Valley Unified School District for allowing us to contribute to these inspiring evenings, and to the incredible students who brought their energy and imagination. Dr. Kevin Zhang, TSMC Senior Vice President of Business Development and Global Sales, and Deputy Co-COO, introduced A14, our most advanced technology. A14 features NanoFlex™ Pro, an innovative and more compact cell structure that delivers unparalleled efficiency and performance Dr. Zhang also shared the more demand for advanced technologies is seen to drive innovations forward for the automotive industry. Kurt Sievers, CEO and President of NXP, and Yossi Meyouhas, CEO of Xsight Labs, joined us and shared valuable insights on advancing Al development and their collaboration with TSMC. Paul de Bot, President of TSMC Europe, reiterated that TSMC continues to expand its capabilities to meet customer demands and nurture innovation across Europe. He shared that ESMC fab in Dresden, Germany, which began construction last year, is progressing well. Ray Chung, Vice President of Operations at TSMC and CEO of ESMC, shared that ESMC will first bring our leading 28/22nm planar and then our advanced 16nm family to Europe to unleash innovations in Automotive and Industrial sectors. We also announce the establishment of TSMC European Design Center (EUDC) in Munich. The new center will be a cornerstone to support European customers to design smaller, high- performance, and energy-efficient semiconductors.     Fuel Cell Technology Breakthrough!! Partnering with the Industrial Technology Research Institute, our "EUV Process Residual Hydrogen Resource Utilization Project" has achieved a milestone by converting residual hydrogen into electricity at a hydrogen concentration of 50% and a flow rate of 320 liters per minute, reaching power generation efficiency of 52.3%. This advancement eliminates the need to purify hydrogen to 99%, significantly improving hydrogen utilization efficiency while minimizing environmental impact. Furthermore, this system has obtained the world's first SEMI-S2 certification, meeting global safety, health, and environmental standards for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. During Construction Safety Week, we proudly joined forces with our construction partners in #Phoenix to emphasize the importance of safety in every step of our journey. Representing TSMC Arizona, YH Wu, VP of Fab Operations, and Glenn Muzyka, Director of Construction, led the charge at a dynamic two-day event attended by over 1,600 trade workers.   The event featured hosted lunches, raffle prizes, and interactive demonstrations of safety-focused products and services from numerous vendors. A heartfelt thank you to Propersys Corporation, UIS, MEGA Union, MIC, and all those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make it a success.
