𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡-𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐅𝐑𝐏 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞! November 25 marked a key milestone for BASF Additives’, with the commissioning of a new production line for high-performance Controlled Free Radical Polymerization (CFRP) dispersants in Nanjing, China. This new location will not only increase overall production capacity, but will also improve supply reliability and flexibility, alongside production from our other CFRP production site in Heerenveen, the Netherlands. Dispersing agents produced using CFRP technology are essential in improving pigment dispersion, color performance and system stability in order to meet the ever-increasing demands of modern coatings, inks and composites. This commissioning of our latest plant underscores BASF's continuous commitment to support the sustainable growth of our customers and the coatings industry globally. More information on this latest development is available from the news release: https://lnkd.in/eY_DdyjP If you’d like to stay up-to-date on BASF Additives’, be sure to follow BASF Additives for Paints, Coatings and Inks today! #BASFAdditives #PowerUpyourFormulations #CFRP #DispersingAgents

Artificial intelligence is transforming research and development — including at BASF. How does it help us become more productive and find better solutions faster? How are we investing more than €2 billion in R&D to drive innovation for our customers? Find out at the Research Press Briefing on December 11, live on LinkedIn. Circularity you can wear: How innovative circular economy solutions are revolutionizing the fashion industry. We also explore how advanced recycling processes are making a genuine circular economy possible in the apparel sector, and how, thanks to loopamid®, high-quality new fibres with significantly lower CO₂ emissions can be produced from old textiles. Competitive hydrogen for the future: Since 2021, BASF has operated a test facility for methane pyrolysis. The next step now follows: together with ExxonMobil, this is being further developed into an industrial solution, with the aim of creating a demonstration plant for industrial production. Find out more about the latest developments. Rethinking catalysts: With the new X3D® catalyst shaping technology, BASF has achieved a technological breakthrough in additive catalyst manufacturing. The innovative technology is based on 3D printing and enables the production of catalysts with customised geometric shapes, delivering optimised performance and efficiency. Seeds full of science: Herbicide-resistant weeds are threatening cotton yields for farmers worldwide. To address this, BASF researchers have developed two innovative herbicide-tolerant traits for cotton seed. The development process focused on specific enzymes, known as 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenases (HPPD).
