  • Shaping the European Quantum Future 💪 🚀 Yesterday our managing director Michael Schweitzer visited the headquarters of our longstanding and trusted partner Quandela together with the WITTENSTEIN group management board. The visit brought together senior leadership from both sides — a strong signal of our shared commitment to advancing Europe’s position in quantum computing. The delegation convened for a strategic and technical review of Lucy, the EuroQCS-France quantum computer currently under development. Discussions focused on integration progress, system readiness, and how to accelerate impact across the European quantum ecosystem. Lucy - Europe’s photonic quantum computer commissioned by EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) JU - is the result of deep collaboration and technological excellence. Built on cutting-edge photonic and cryogenic technologies, it represents more than just hardware: it’s a milestone in European innovation and digital sovereignty. Set to launch later this year, Lucy is poised to drive breakthroughs in AI, cybersecurity, and materials science - paving the way for a sovereign European quantum future. A heartfelt thank you to Niccolo Somaschi and the entire Quandela team for the warm welcome and inspiring exchange! • For many high-precision applications such as semiconductor manufacturing, photonics assembly, quantum research and scanning probe microscopy (SPM) repeatability in positioning is a decisive key factor: From ensuring defect-free photolithography to enabling atomic-scale imaging, consistent performance is critical. In our latest Tech Note, we provide a summary of how attocube defines and quantifies positioning repeatability in the NUM EC* nanopositioners series. The Technical Note outlines measurement methodologies based on established standards, including ISO 230 and ASME B5.54, and presents results as well as optimization strategies. Read the full technical note here https://lnkd.in/dQXGp_7D 👏 Thanks to Alexander Michael, Jonas Wickelmaier and Markus Mathéus from our R&D team for bringing in their dedication & expertise! #piezopositioner #repeatabilitystandard #nanoprecision #motioncontrol

  • Redefining Cryogenic Imaging: True Apochromatic Performance at Low Temperatures ❄️ High-resolution, drift-free apochromatic imaging at cryogenic temperatures has long posed a challenge in advanced optical microscopy. Conventional room-temperature objectives often underperform in these conditions due to limited collection angles and restrictive geometries. attocube LT-APO objectives are purpose-engineered to overcome these limitations. Designed for cryogenic environment, they are non-magnetic, glue-free, and deliver true apochromatic performance at low temperatures with exceptional drift stability. Featuring optimized working distances and broadband spectral compatibility, LT-APO objectives set a new standard for precision in cryogenic optics research. Explore our whitepaper to learn more about features of LT-APOs https://lnkd.in/dpSQ6BPe Or visit our LT-APO webpage https://lnkd.in/dznehiYh #CryogenicImaging #ApochromaticOptics #Precision
