🏙 Strengthening German-Taiwanese ties in Taichung! On July 30, our Chief Representative Dr. Eva Langerbeck was welcomed by Taichung Mayor Lu, Shiow-Yen for an exchange on economic cooperation, cultural ties, and developments in the machinery industry. Mayor Lu emphasized Taichung’s role as Taiwan’s second-largest city and key industrial hub and introduced support measures for foreign companies such as a 'single-window' service and subsidies for overseas exhibitions. Dr. Langerbeck highlighted the city’s importance for German businesses and expressed hope for continued collaboration. The visit was also joined by a delegation of leading German companies with a strong presence in Taichung, including Managing Director of Beckhoff Automation Taiwan 倍福自動化, Mr. Phylex Ong, Managing Director of HEIDENHAIN Taiwan, Mr. Derek Tsai, Chairman and General Manager of HeliService Taiwan, Mr. Norman Pin and Mr. Markus Timar, General Manager of KTR Taiwan LTD Ktr Ltd., Mr. Chang-Jung Wu and two deputy directors from igus® Taiwan 台灣易格斯, Mr. Vincent Chiang and Mr. Sean Hsiao.
