🤝 Visit to the Legislative Yuan: From Semiconductors to Cultural Exchange – Forging a New Chapter of Cooperation
Dr. Eva Langerbeck, Chief Representative and Executive Director of the German Trade Office Taipei, visited Legislative Yuan last week. She was warmly received by President Han Kuo-yu and held productive discussions with legislators from all three major parties: Ms. Weng Hsiao-ling, Ms. Chen Pei-yu, and Ms. Mai Yu-chen.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on a wide range of topics, including Taiwan-Germany cooperation in semiconductors, AI applications, medical technology, aerospace development, and higher education. They also emphasized the importance of talent cultivation and industrial linkages in strengthening bilateral collaboration.
Dr. Langerbeck introduced the Semiconductor Talent Incubation Program Taiwan-Germany (STIPT) and shared key challenges faced by German companies in Taiwan—such as energy transition, tariffs, regulatory frameworks, and cross-strait relations—highlighting the need to optimize the investment environment through firsthand business insights.
We sincerely thank President Han and the legislators for their warm hospitality and constructive input—especially on issues such as support for Taiwanese engineers in Dresden, historical education, and energy transition.

🤝拜會立法院：從半導體到文化交流 打造合作新篇章
德國經濟辦事處首席代表暨處長蘭依樺博士上週拜會立法院，獲立法院韓國瑜院長親自接見，並與三黨立法委員翁曉玲、陳培瑜、麥玉珍展開熱絡交流。
會中，雙方就台德在半導體、AI應用、醫療科技、航太發展與高等教育交流等議題深入交換意見，並一致強調人才培育與產業鏈連結對雙邊合作發展的重要性。蘭處長除了分享「台德半導體人才培育計畫」（STIPT）現況，也提出德商在台所面臨包括能源政策、關稅、法規制度與兩岸關係等挑戰，期盼藉由第一線意見優化投資環境，為未來深化合作奠定基礎。
感謝立法院韓院長與各黨委員的熱情接待與建設性建言，不論是協助未來前往德勒斯登的台籍工程師、歷史教育與能源轉型等議題，能有更多雙邊的討論與深度交流。德經處將持續促進雙邊交流，強化德國企業在台灣的深耕布局，攜手促進更多合作與成長機會。
